Photographed meals during preparation will provide a frame of reference for delegate learning material for the Introductory to Photography training program.
All meals will be photographed in my training studio apartment kitchen using my Canon EOS cameras, EF lenses and Speedlite flash equipment. The training studio apartment will mostly used for the facilitation of mostly theoretical photography training.
Over the next couple of months I will experiment and learn to what extend it can be made cost effective to prepare a variety of meals for students to photograph as well.
Some of the meals are prepared using a Defy Kitchenaire 621 electric stove - this will be more or less inline what most chefs and cooks will be using when starting out with food photography at home. The small kitchen is fully equip with a refrigerator and microwave oven.
From time to time I will also host the traditional South African braai, cooking a variety of local beef, chicken, lamb and pork meats
More on some of the Western Cape's fines red, white and sparkling wines.
